Tadano acquires aerial work vehicle company

TAKAMATSU, Japan – Tadano Ltd. has successfully entered into a purchase agreement to acquire all shares of Nagano Industry Co., a manufacturer of self-propelled crawler aerial work platforms in Japan.

Nagano was founded in 1968, and offers products for construction, civil engineering, factory, shipbuilding and maintenance applications. This acquisition adds to Tadano’s 30 per cent market share for truck-mounted aerial work platforms in the Japanese market.

Tadano says the integration of Nagano into the company’s product umbrella will reinforce their dedication to advancing the aerial work platform industry while staying focused on delivering its solutions to customers worldwide.
