MONTREAL, QC – Quebec’s Summit Logistics Canada played a key role in getting a piece of the Varennes Carbon Recycling Project in place, with the company helping to receive a large reactor from Enerkem Inc. by barge on Sunday, April 21.

The reactor was sent from Italy, with its trip coordinated with assistance from JAS Worldwide and Edmonton Energy Solutions. Despite the issues with a weekend delivery of this scale, Montreal Boatmen, Logistec Corporation and Mammoet assisted the Summit Team’s lifting and transfer of the reactor onshore.

The Summit team also thanked Enerkem’s chief logistics manager, Morvan Kerneis, for trusting their solutions for a project of this scale.

“Finally, [thank you] Morvan Kerneis for believing in Summit Logistics’ logistics plan and their warehousing solution. Not too many places like Summit Logistics can accommodate cargo of this size, without ever touching the public roads,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.
