MILWAUKEE, WI – In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, CONEXPO-CON/AGG has launched a comprehensive resource hub spotlighting mental wellness in the construction industry.

The hub contains actionable resources, firsthand accounts and practical advice for both employees and employers aimed at supporting mental health in construction workplaces and shifting the industry’s attitude toward this issue.

Podcasts and articles on the site explore a number of mental health topics, including coping with stress on the jobsite, tips for supporting your employees’ mental health and a seven-step guide to improving mental health in construction.

“The construction industry is filled with professionals committed to precision in everything they do,” said CONEXPO-CON/AGG’s show director, Dana Wuesthoff. “This level of attention and care must also be given to the mental health of all construction professionals. CONEXPO-CON/AGG is committed to breaking down stigmas and creating a future where mental health isn’t an afterthought but the cornerstone of our industry.”

Mental health will also receive the spotlight in CONEXPO-CON/AGG’s newsletter over the next several months, covering psychological safety topics across the construction industry such as suicide and PTSD.
