JLG updates its safety and equipment training platform

MCCONNELLSBURG, PA – Lift equipment manufacturer JLG Industries has updated its training offerings and learning platform. These updates see the combination of JLG’s AccessReady program into their JLG University initiative to now offer a more modern and streamlined workplace education experience for lift professionals and operators.

The new JLG University will offer users access to a library of training content and videos, in addition to learning path modules for continued growth on staying up-to-date with compliance and safe equipment use.

The improved platform also offers training managers options to track employee progress, assign specific courses, download completion certificates and digitally manage operator access.

This streamlining also sees JLG University to be accessible throughout other JLG platforms. Digitally, instructor-led online training and self-paced e-learning can now also be accessed through JLG.com and OnlineExpress, while traditional classroom training is also available across JLG’s training centres and operating locations.

“With this system, we have the ability to be agile in our improvements and training offerings based on the needs of our customers. It’s an exciting step into the next generation of learning,” said Rick Smith, JLG’s director of product training.
