Tadano’s new all-terrain model makes Canadian debut with Sterling Crane

EDMONTON – Sterling Crane has received the first Canadian delivery of Tadano’s AC 7.450-1 all-terrain crane, with the machine set make its debut in carrying out refinery work in Western Canada.

The AC 7.450-1 is a 500-ton, 7-axle machine with a 262.5-foot main boom and compact length of under 60 feet.

Sterling Crane, a Marmon Crane Services/Berkshire Hathaway company, has served clients in the industrial, infrastructure, power and commercial sectors across Canada for over 65 years. In a press release, the company shared that it is looking forward to the solutions that Tadano’s new all-terrain machine will bring its customers.

“Everyone knows the quality of Tadano machines, and this new all-terrain crane will be a great fit for our customers throughout the region,” says Tom MacLeod, president of Sterling Crane Canada. “The AC 7.450-1 has amazing power and reach, and it fits the roads and tough jobs of Western Canada. Tadano is known for high-performance cranes and top support, and we are excited that Sterling customers have a powerful new 7-axle option.”
