Scholpp takes delivery of Demag ac 300-6 All Terrain Crane

July 8, 2019  By Demag

July 8, 2019, Zweibrücken, Germany – SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH ordered a total of three Demag all terrain cranes from Terex Cranes last year.

Of these, the Demag AC 220-5 crane was already delivered in 2018, the Demag AC 700-9 at the beginning of this year, and the last (for the time being) was handed over in April. It was a Demag AC 300-6 crane picked up in Zweibrücken by Stephan Burkhardt, Regional Operations Manager Stuttgart, together with the two crane operators Jörg Plätzer and Andreas Meinzer. The new machine was handed over by Michael Zieger, Manager Sales, at Terex Cranes.

“The Demag AC 300-6 impressed us above all with its unique and flexible combination of range and performance. With the 80-m main boom fully extended, it still lifts up to 15 t. This makes it the perfect assist crane for the assembly and disassembly of tower cranes,” says Martin Scholpp, managing partner, explaining his company’s purchase decision. SCHOLPP will also be using the new Demag AC 300-6 for heavy cargo handling, bridge construction and lifting special load parts. “The crane can handle jobs up to 78 m high or within a radius of 74 m without a jib – this is really sensational,” says Stephan Burkhardt, making no secret of his enthusiasm for the Demag AC 300-6 all terrain crane.
