Sarens strikes offshore wind partnership with Empire Energy

International heavy lifting company Sarens has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the offshore division of U.S.-based Empire Energy to collaborate on the development of offshore wind projects in the U.S.

The MOU was signed between  Robert Ekhour and Yannick Sel of Sarens and Empire Energy’s director of business development, Vicky Roberts.

Under the agreement, Sarens’ heavy lifting and transport capabilities will be combined with Empire Energy’s engineering, procurement and construction operations to create a single solution covering multiple steps of the offshore wind farm development process in the U.S.

“We are excited to collaborate with Empire Energy Offshore to provide our industry-leading heavy lifting and transport solutions to the offshore wind market,” said Steven Sarens, the managing director of Sarens Projects USA. “By working together, we can offer a seamless, integrated service that will streamline project execution and ensure the success of offshore wind developments in the U.S.”
