HoistCam cameras can be self-installed

June 15, 2018  By Netarus

Known for being rapidly deployable, HoistCam remote camera monitoring systems from Netarus LLC, now makes self-installation and troubleshooting even easier. The company recently launched a series of videos to complement its online support system and knowledge base of frequently asked questions.

Topics include system startup instructions for HoistCam HC140, HC180, HC190 and WinchCam. Other videos dive deeper into mounting the monitor, setting up the MDVR for HoistCam Director, and troubleshooting Pan-Tilt-Zoom. Designing products that are easy to install reduces costs and enables customers to deploy cameras on their schedule, rather than having to arrange for a service technician. In addition, it makes it easier for cameras to be moved from one piece of equipment to another as the situation dictates.

“I appreciated the instructions and flexibility illustrated in the detailed system diagrams, which helped in my product decision-making process,” said Randy Miller, equipment manager for F.A. Wilhelm Construction, a general contractor, construction manager, and design-builder headquartered in Indianapolis, Ind.

“Using wireless transmission, industrial magnets for mounting, and simple-to-adjust camera angles, HoistCam cameras are easily installed and ready to serve as an operator aid immediately after installation,” said Chris Machut, Chief Technology Officer. In addition, HoistCam system is designed for harsh environments such as a commercial construction site or a finishing mill and comes with an industry-leading 5-year Warranty on hardware.
