February 27, 2018 – G.W. Becker, Inc., a custom design manufacturer of overhead cranes in North America, is pleased to announce Chris Wilson has been hired as operations manager.
After serving in the United States Naval Submarine Force for seven years, Wilson began his manufacturing career in purchasing and production. After earning his EMBA, he became a product and engineering manager and then finally appointed to Director of Engineering for a global leader in the material testing equipment industry. He provides 23 years of senior leadership in all aspects of technical and manufacturing operations.
With deep experience as a technical and manufacturing manager, Wilson will complement G.W. Becker, Inc.’s existing executive team as the company continues to focus on expanding its North America customer base and strive to improve its excellent customer service by streamlining processes.
“My goal is to provide leadership to the G.W. Becker Operation’s team as we establish the processes and controls needed to maintain our excellent quality and customer service while experiencing significant sales growth,” Wilson said.
Wilson will work closely with most departments at G.W. Becker, Inc. to consistently address and promote efficiency, safety and quality within production. His primary role is to support the overall company goal of great customer service and quality. His business acumen, proven track record in solving complex business and end-user problems, and ability to lead product technical direction, product quality and safety makes him a perfect match for G.W. Becker, Inc. and our valued customers.
