Potain, a Manitowoc company, provided a first look at its new Igo M 24-19 self-erecting crane to attendees of Paris’ Batimat international construction trade show from September 29 to October 3.

An upgrade of Potain’s Igo M 14, the Igo M 24-19 joins the Igo MA 21 and Hup M 28-22 models in the company’s line of mobile self-erecting cranes, designed as a solution for new home construction and renovation applications.

The machine features a folded length of 11.83 metres designed for accessing narrow and restricted job sites, with jib configuration options spanning 12.3 metres, 21 metres and 24 metres at maximum length. When at maximum jib length, the 24-19 can lift up to 570 kg, with a total lifting capacity of 1.8 tonnes.

Users have three steering axle options for travel, including a 25 km/h tow bar, an 80 km/h tow bar, and a fifth wheel. The machine features an under hook height of 19 metres, with additional raised jib options of 11 and 20 degrees for uses that demand more height under hook.
