Cropac Equipment is looking to open a new central parts warehouse in Oakville, Ont.

“In order to maintain timely support for our customers’ operations as we expand our presence in the Canadian marketplace, it became necessary to establish a central parts warehouse,” says Johnathan Vieira, marketing & communications manager, Cropac Equipment. “By making this decision, our customers will derive benefits as we will have the capability to stock more of the parts they require, thereby enabling us to provide them with what they need promptly.”

It was necessary to expand their presence in the Canadian marketplace “to maintain timely support for our customers’ operations,” adds Vieira.

“It became necessary to establish a central parts warehouse since we are now the Canadian dealers for Lodax plastic pads, Elebia quick-release hooks, Dehaan blocks and lifting solutions, OVP lifting accessories, Lube-A-Boom, and Bechem,” he says.

With the largest number of cranes in North America located in Ontario, the demand for equipment is expected to continue to increase.

“To meet this growth and the accompanying demand for service and parts, we are taking steps to prepare ourselves accordingly,” says Vieira.

Customers want cranes that can handle their required load capacities and lift heights; and safety is definitely top of the list, points out Vieira.

“Customers prioritize safety features.  Efficiency, customers want cranes that are easy to operate and maintain, and that can increase their productivity and reduce downtime,” he says. ” It is also important that a crane is reliable and durable, with minimal downtime due to maintenance or repairs.”
