Crane truck collision causes power outage in rural Langley

A crane truck colliding with a power pole caused caused a power outage in rural Langley, B.C. north of the Trans Canada Highway.

About 253 BC Hydro customers lost power at around 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 in the area of 56th Avenue and 264th Street.

There were no injuries, but there is some damage to the pole, reported CpL. Craig van Herk with the Langley RCMP, and police are continuing their investigation.
