Worker falls into trench; brought to safety uninjured

The Ministry of Labour is investigating after authorities say a worker in his 30s at a construction site in Barrie, Ont. fell into a trench when it crumbled beneath him Tuesday evening.

Fire crews used a series of ropes and pulleys to climb down and lower a basket into place to pull the man from the hole, who was brought up uninjured.
