Nominations for 2024
now open.

Winners of our Top 10 Under 40 will be profiled in the November/December 2024 issue of Crane and Hoist Canada magazine.


Here are the guidelines:

  • Nominees must be younger than 40 before Dec. 31, 2024
  • Nominees must either be working in Canada or be Canadian citizens working outside the country
  • Nominations are due by Wednesday, September 18th, 2024


Who can submit nominations?

Nominations can come from anyone familiar with the candidate’s work and character, such as advisors, supervisors, coworkers or industry colleagues.

What type of information should be included about the nominee?

Potential information to submit about the nominee can include (but is not exclusive to):

  • projects or initiatives the individual is or has been involved in
  • impressive results from past projects
  • day-to-day job responsibilities
  • workplace initiatives that go beyond regular job duties
  • community/industry involvement

The profiles written on the winners will be based on this information, so please be specific!

Is a secondary reference for the nominee required?

No. While helpful to our selection process, secondary references are not mandatory.

What do winners get?

Winners of Crane & Hoist Canada‘s Top 10 Under 40 program will receive a framed certificate recognizing their achievement and be profiled in our November/December 2024 issue.

What pictures are required with my submission?

We also require at least two high-resolution photos of the nominee. This can be as simple as snapping some interesting photos on your smartphone.
