Utility professionals and construction contractors gathered in Louisville, Ken. last week for The Utility Expo, the industry’s first in-person gathering since the onset of the pandemic.

The event, hosted by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), ran Sept. 28 through Sept. 30 and was the largest in the show’s history with more than 950 companies spread across more than 1.4 million net square feet of the Kentucky Exhibition Center.

More than 16,500 attendees participated in the event, including senior management, fleet and asset managers and equipment purchasers.

On offer were specialized exhibits and product unveilings, hands-on test drives and demonstrations, and information about the latest innovations in the industry.

“The networking opportunities at The Utility Expo are invaluable for attendees and fellow exhibitors,” says John Rozum, show director for The Utility Expo, in a statement.

“As an organization we can provide customized solutions for our customers’ challenges. But if those customers need something we cannot provide, we can refer them to an organization who can help them, and those connections can only come at events like The Utility Expo.”

The biennial Utility Expo will return to Louisville and the Kentucky Exposition Center Sept. 26-28, 2023.
