February 13, 2023  By Don Horne

Strongco Corporation, a Nors Group company, has completed construction of their new Dartmouth, Nova Scotia facility, and will officially open their doors to the public next month.

“This major milestone solidifies our investment in our team and the customers we serve. We have started the move to a great future and our Dartmouth Team is looking forward to serving our valued customers from this new facility on March 6,” says Stephen George, Regional Vice President, Construction Equipment, Eastern Canada.

The relocation to this new facility will continue to support heavy equipment sales, rental, and product support and service for the Volvo Construction Equipment, Sennebogen and Eco Log Forestry product lines Strongco distributes in Nova Scotia and throughout the Atlantic region.

This newly designed Strongco facility has over 21,000 square feet and is designed with 8 new modern service bays, each with 35 feet of operating height. The shop is also outfitted with 2 ten-ton overhead cranes, and the increased space in the parts and shipping warehouse has the capacity to stock a large inventory of OEM parts. This new facility will allow Strongco to provide additional customer support with an added focus on reducing wait times for their customers.
