“Our development efforts for the Terex RT 100US crane revolved around the needs of our customers” explains Dr. Suresh Natarajan, director of product management for rough terrain cranes at Terex Cranes. “We’ve seamlessly integrated a lot of great features that will help our customers be more productive on the job, while reducing transportation costs. Safety, quality, reliability and performance have been key areas that help sustain the residual value of the crane when customers decide it’s time to upgrade to a new machine.”

Performance
The 47-metre (154 feet) main boom offers long reach and three boom modes for competitive performance and productivity. Three boom modes include the unique synchronized boom mode, in addition to strength and stability modes.

Compact and maneuverable

It has a narrow width of just 3m (9.8 ft) and removable counterweight, which allows it to be trailered without weight and width restrictions in most situations. Once on site, it features four steering modes, including two-wheel, four-wheel, crab and independent rear axle steering for easy positioning and extensive versatility.
