SC&RA elects slate of officers for 2018-19

The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association has elected Gary Stang, senior vice-president and general manager at Anderson Trucking Service, as SC&RA president during its 2018 Annual Conference, held from April 17 to 21 at the Boca Raton Resort in Boca Raton, Fla.

Joining Stang as officers for the 2018-19 term are:
•Chairman: Terry Young, Construction Safety Experts, Cary, North Carolina
•Vice-president: Tom Bennington, Duncan Machinery Movers, Inc., Lexington, Kentucky
•Treasurer: Delynn Burkhalter, Burkhalter, Columbus, Mississippi
•Assistant Treasurer: Jay Folladori, Bennett International Group, McDonough, Georgia.

Also joining the Board are four newly elected Group Chairs: Allied Industries
•Group: Lester Evans, Aspen Custom Trailers, Gatesville, Texas
•Crane & Rigging Group: Kenneth Goddard, International Industrial Contracting Corporation, Sterling, Michigan
•Transportation Group: Ray Morgan, Perkins STC, Northfield, Minnesota
•Ladies Group: Denise Claton, Midwest Specialized Transportation, Inc., Rochester, Minnesota

The newly-elected officers will serve one-year terms that will expire at the conclusion of the association’s next annual conference, to be held from April 23 to 27, 2019 at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif.
