National Heavy Equipment Show 2019 fast approaching
Pre-registration numbers up 25%, exhibit space nearly sold out
January 15, 2019 By Master Promotions
Canada’s largest trade event for the heavy equipment industry is making its return to Mississauga’s International Centre this March 28 and 29. Now coming into its 22nd year, the event is in full planning mode as the show floor closes in on sold-out status and pre-registration numbers overtake previous records.
“We are anticipating a larger crowd of attendees this year, as big infrastructure projects take center stage across the country. Procurement is top of mind for many professionals at the moment,” says Mark Cusack, national show manager. “In talking with our exhibitors, they are looking forward to connecting with thousands of industry leaders and making the big sales that are reported year after year at this show.”
With enticing features including unmatched networking opportunities, recruiting efforts, and a focus on safety products, the show offers a valuable chance to get on top of current industry trends and prepare for the big projects of tomorrow.
A variety of complimentary educational seminars are already planned, including the following topics:
• New Pipeline Crossing Requirements for Mobile Equipment by Ann Newman, Supervisor of Lands & ROW at Enbridge Pipelines Inc.
• Careers in Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance by Centennial College
• Plus, a timely session on Cannabis and how this plays into the heavy equipment fields.
Since its first edition in 1997, well over 100,000 visitors have walked the floors at the National Heavy Equipment Show. A majority of attendance is comprised of professionals from contracting, equipment rental, and government sectors, which translates to legitimate buyers on the show floor. With over 13,000 visitors in both 2017 and 2015, the 2019 event is expected to draw larger crowds than ever, including key decision makers and purchasers.
