Mini cranes help aircrafts fight wildfires

Ideally, helicopter and airplane maintenance and repair happens in the comfort of a hanger, but sometimes it needs to be done out in the field. Maeda Mini Cranes recently helped plane and copter maintenance personnel perform repair work on machines fighting wildfires in the west.

“These helicopters needed to be maintained while fighting wildfires in the west, and couldn’t go in to the shop. Maintenance crews were able to meet the helicopter in the middle of a field, with a Maeda Mini Crane, and perform the necessary maintenance needed to keep these copters up in the air,” stated the company.
