Infrastructure BC invites contractors to meet redevelopment project team

Local contractors, suppliers and businesses in B.C. who might be interested in providing services to the successful proponent team on the Dawson Creek and District Hospital Redevelopment Project are invited to join a networking event staged by Infrastructure BC.

This business-to-business event will be held Nov. 17 and will allows the proponent team to improve its knowledge, understanding and awareness of local services available, as well as to build relationships with local contractors and suppliers.

The $377.86-million project will include design and construction of a new 19,400 m² hospital with 70 inpatient acute beds (providing medical surgical, maternity, high acuity and mental health services), two operating rooms, one minor procedure room, 15 emergency department treatment spaces, academic and teaching space, LEED Gold certification, and 334 surface parking stalls plus landscaping.
