MONTREAL – Montreal-based simulated heavy equipment training solutions provider CM Labs has announced their next step in their workforce solutions with the Intellia intelligent training system, a new suite of software for the construction, utilities and port industries.

Intellia is designed to drive organizational efficiency across training processes. The program targets all levels of an organization, with advanced reporting features to support administrators, along with the program’s ability to monitor and manage multiple trainees aiding instructor processes. This system also serves trainees through providing them the freedom to learn at their own pace through prescribed learning paths.

The Intellia suite is comprised of four different products, with each of them being compatible with CM Labs’ entire line of simulators. These different products include:

  • Intellia Instructor: this platform allows instructors to create learning paths, inject falts into exercises, monitor trainees in real-time through the operator view camera and monitor progress through detailed reporting features.
  • Intellia Drone View: trainers can observe trainees through a multitude of viewpoints within simulated exercises, including as an avatar walking around a virtual jobsite, flying by drone or underground via Subterranean mode.
  • Intellia Training Packs: this library of heavy equipment packs is powered by CM Labs’ core technology and offers the highest level of realism available on the market, said the company.
  • Intellia Add-On Modules: optional add-on exercises are available covering a range of needs and experience levels, including advanced safety exercises.

“With Intellia, our clients are seeing measurable improvements in operational efficiency, which translates into a strong return on investment. No other company offers the full depth and breadth of what we are offering,” said Lisa Barbieri, vice president of marketing at CM Labs. “Intellia represents a pivotal moment in operator training within our industry.”
