Celebrating 75 years

The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) is celebrating 75 years, and they are looking for your favourite stories and memories of the association.

Founded in 1948, the association is sharing stories from various members on their website and asking those to email their stories as the year progresses.

For those who are looking to celebrate “in person,” there are three events for 2023:

• Specialized Transportation Symposium, Feb. 28-March 2 in Orlando, Fla.
• 2023 Annual Conference, April 17-21 in Carlsbad, Calif.
• Crane & Rigging Workshop, Sept. 26-28 in Oklahoma City, Okla.

We here at Crane & Hoist Canada magazine are eager to share your stories as well, and are asking that you send your memories to me, Don Horne, at dhorne@annexbusinessmedia.com. And we are looking forward to celebrating another 75 years with SC&RA.
