Careers in crane, rigging and specialized transport featured at CONEXPO-CON/AGG
February 19, 2020 By Lift & Move
Lift & Move USA will participate in a multi-association workforce solutions initiative at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, in Las Vegas, Nev., March 10-14. Lift & Move USA connects students and educators with the people, equipment, and companies that work in crane, rigging, and specialized transportation.
The Workforce Solutions Area at the show has a two-fold purpose—to share the industry’s best practices for workforce development with each other, and on March 12-13, to interact with approximately 1,000 students from the Las Vegas area.
“Lift & Move USA has planned a presentation showcasing the role of transportation, lifting, and rigging in the construction of Allegiant Stadium, future home of the Las Vegas Raiders,” said Tracy Bennett, director of Lift & Move USA. “Dozens of SC&RA member company representatives have volunteered their time and expertise to present an interactive exhibit for the students.”
Since 2015, Lift & Move USA has held hands-on field events for more than 4,500 students in 15 cities. “We look forward to sharing some of our tips and lessons learned with our industry colleagues,” said Bennett.
