August 17, 2020 By Mike Biden

Penticton, B.C. – Maurer Crane Industries was contracted by Bernsteel to place steel beams and iron works on top of the new Penticton Hospital tower in British Columbia.
A 200-ton Liebherr crane was used to perform this construction building platform situated above the emergency wing. The crane was operating a 197-foot main boom with 72-foot jib sections at a radius of 225 feet supported with counter weights and jib sections.
The operations involved four tractor trailer loads of large air handing units and completed under a nine-hour period; with COVID-19 and safety protocols in place.
